Green Papaya Salad with Shrimp and Pork

(Gỏi đu đủ xanh tôm thịt) - Green papaya salad with shrimp and pork is more delicious when using in cold days like these days. Winter is coming.

When eating, we can drink a little beer or wine. It will increase the flavor of  Green Papaya Salad.

Ingredients

-  Shrimp: 200gr
-  Pork: 200gr (We usually use ear pork in this dish)
-  Green papaya: 1
-  Carrot: 1
-  Laksa leaves
-  Basil
-  Crushed roasted peanut
-  Lemon juice
-  Salt: 1 tablespoon
-  Fish Sauce
-  Chopped chilli

 Process

- Green papaya peeled, seeded, and julienned. Then, soak the julienned papaya into water which adds lemon juice and salt. Waiting about 5 minute and bring it out. Next, thinly slice carrot.

- Clean and soak ear pork in salt water about 30 minutes. Then, boiling the shrimp and pork until become cooked. Next, slice shrimp to 2 equal parts. Thinly slice pork.

- Mix chopped chilli, minced garlic, sugar, lemon juice with fish sauce to create dipping fish sauce. Season to suit your flavor (a little sour, a little sweet, a little salt are perfect for dipping sauce).

- Mix julienned papaya, sliced carrot. Add this mixture into the bowl. Organize sliced ear pork and shrimp on the top. After that, add crushed roasted peanut, basil, laksa leaves and hot sauce.
