(Mứt Xoài) - A little sour and sweet from mango can create Mango Jam for make your Tet Holiday more colorful.
- 1 teaspoon lime – Buy at Vietnamese Markets
- 400gr white sugar
- Salt.
- Use knife to cut into long pieces (2 – 3cm).
- Mix lime with cold water and wait in 30 minutes. Use the water above, throw away the dregs below.
- Soak sliced mango into mixture in step 3 in 5 – 6 hours. Next, clean carefully with cold water in 2 – 3 times. Wait to dry. Then, pour sugar and mix well, wait in 2 – 3 hours until all sugar is melted.
- Pour mixture into pot, put on cooking stove and cook with small heat in 40 – 45 minutes. The sugar water turns brown yellow and thicker. Turn off the heat and wait to get cold.
- Put each sliced mango on grid in 3 – 4 hours. Next, roll each mango through sugar.
- Finally, Mango Jam is finished. Store in glass jar and use day by day.
